The activity follows different problematic aspects: a) Safety of use of the industrial product The world of the objects of daily use within life and job is analyzed taking particularly consideration different aspect. From a side there are the choices of project directed to the safety of use of the industrial product, to the ergonomic aspects, to the environmental sustainability. From the other side there is the evolution of the same product in relationship to the used materials and to the productive technologies. As it regards the specific aspects of functionality, defectiveness, safety of the product, they are considered choices of project concerning material, technologies, systems of connection, safety devices, interaction between consumer and product. It is taken into account also the aspects related to the production, through the definition of the requisite of acceptance, the control on raw materials, materials and components, besides the requisite of cars and fittings. Other parameter of study concerns the information for the use of the product in safety, through the definition of the criterions for the formulation of the instructions, of the manuals, of the instructions, of the labelling. Essential reference is constituted by the normative community and national. b) Quality and safety of the job environments The planning of the life and job environments must consider the satisfaction of the usage demands in relationship to the processes of change, of transition and of innovation, more and more marked in the productive world. They are object of study the aspects concerning hygiene, salubriousness, agibilità, accessibility, microclima, besides the environmental risks of mechanic, thermal, electric type related to the fire, to the noise, with the relative measures safety techniques, organizational, procedural. Particular attention is reserved to the job environments in the sector of the constructions, where the problem of the prevention is extremely felt. We will analyze with attention the problems that refer to the safety and the health of the operators and the consumers, problems coming from the choices effected in the process that begins with the phases of planning of the work and finishes with the organization of the production of the same one.The search in this sector is compared with the indications and the operative directives that corporate bodies and institutions have published and in this sector is compared with corporate bodies and institutions working at national and European level and it is fed by the share to job commissions founded near national and regional corporate body. c) Material, products and systems The thematic deepen in the search are characterized by the study of materials and products, traditional and innovative, with particular attention to their implications of project, of technological innovation and of environmental quality. The materials have been studied that allow to characterize the planning and the production of the industrial product from the point of view of the sustainability, of the quality, of the safety of use. Particular consideration is reserved to the materials and the products that find application in the planning of the environments of life (domestic, of job, of services). Such activity finds connection with the job developed inside the SCED Laboratory.
