The research line “Models and instruments for the internazionalization” deals with the study of the so-called design-driven innovation by distinguishing the modalities with which such type of innovation can be transferred into different geographical contexts (and interacts, as a result, with different cultural, social and productive realities). The interest particularly refers to the design-driven innovation transfer by research centers, such as INDACO Department, to collectivities of companies (associations of small and medium-size concerns , districts and local productive systems), with the participation, in different cases, of universities and centres of research, associations and local institutions which act as mediators and project facilitators. The main research focuses are: - Design-driven innovation transfer to international contexts; transfer of innovation driven by design from centres of research to productive territories in different geographical contexts, with the involvement of universities and centres of research, associations and local institutions acting as mediators and project facilitators; - Design services for internazionalization; role of design in the processes of internazionalization of companies; - Processes of creation of international networks of research and professional training; - Processes of didactics internazionalization. Creation of professional-training courses for the internazionalization of didactics at the Faculty of Design.
