The goal of the workshop is to present recent results and research trends in the theory and applications of semi-lagrangian methods in various areas of fluid mechanics and control theory.
The workshop concludes the activity of an INDAM-GNCS project. The talks will be given in the afternoon of Feb 6 and in the morning of Feb 7 (a detailed programme will be available in January 2013).
On Feb 6, three hours of introductory lectures to semi-Lagrangian methods will be given by the organizers to interested PhD students, if a sufficient number of requests is reached.
Registration: Registration is free but mandatory in order to make practical arrangements easier.
Registration deadline: February 5, 2013.
A social dinner will be organized on the evening of Feb 6.
