The Guarantor of Transparency is responsible for verifying and promoting the circulation of information, publicity and the transparency of the decision-making processes of the Politecnico di Milano.

This figure is appointed by the Rector, upon the proposal of the Academic Senate, among the university professors.

He or she shall remain in office for 4 years, with a mandate that can only be renewed once.

The Guarantor of Transparency for the four year period of 2011-2014 is Professor Nicola Schiavoni.
