The University Quality Service (UQS) represents the University in relation to activities carried out by internal structures which adhere to the Politecnico Quality System (PQS) and constitutes the technical and operational point of reference of the University with regard to the Italian Calibration Service (Accredia).

The University Quality Service provides qualified support and consultancy services related to quality organisational management issues, first and foremost development of Management Systems (QMS) compliant with the ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.

The Quality Service is also accredited as Calibration Centre No. 104 for the issue of Accredia calibration certificates (former SIT certificates).
